During the production of a real-life Squid Game show, three people received medical attention, but Netflix stated that “claims of serious injury are untrue.”
Cardington Studios in Bedfordshire is where the game show, which is based on the popular South Korean show, is being made.
Three people were treated for “mild medical conditions,” according to the streaming giant.
Netflix stated, “We care deeply about the health and safety of our cast and crew.”
456 contestants compete on the show to win $4.56 million (£3.8 million).
Netflix’s spokesperson stated that medical personnel were always present on set and that the company had “invested in all the appropriate safety procedures.”
“Any claims of serious injury are untrue, even though it was very cold on set and participants were prepared for that,” he stated.
The thriller series followed contestants struggling with debt as they competed in a deadly series of twisted children’s games for a significant cash prize.
111 million people streamed it within the first 28 days of its release, making it Netflix’s most popular series ever. In June, a second series was announced.
Squid Game, a 10-episode competition series, was also announced by Netflix that same month: The Challenge, which boasts the “largest cast and cash prize in reality television history.”
The contestants, who have traveled from all over the world to Bedfordshire, compete in a series of games based on the original show.
Brandon Riegg, Netflix vice president of unscripted and documentary series, stated at the time of the announcement: The enthralling plot and iconic visuals of Squid Game by Director Hwang caused a stir around the world.
“As we turn the fictional world into reality in this massive competition and social experiment, we are grateful for his support.”

According to the East of England Ambulance Service, no calls to the studios in recent days have been answered.
