The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported that earlier on Monday, an earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale struck 25 kilometers south of the Farkhar district in Takhar province, Afghanistan.
According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), a magnitude 4.3 earthquake occurred in Afghanistan on Wednesday, 85 kilometers east of Kabul.

The NCS stated on its official Twitter account that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.
