After Jeremy Renner’s recent accident, promotional images for the television show Mayor of Kingstown have been edited to remove the actor’s injuries from his face.

In the initial artwork for the second season of the drama, the star was depicted bleeding and bruised.

Hugh Dillon, who co-created it, said that changing it was “good for the network.” Renner was in critical condition earlier this month after an accident involving a snow plough.

On Tuesday, he disclosed that he is recuperating at home after leaving the hospital.

Dillon stated to The Hollywood Reporter, “Everyone is sensitive to Jeremy.”
Renner is also known for starring in films like The Hurt Locker, American Hustle, and Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol as Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

After being run over by his own snow plough outside his Nevada home at the beginning of January during blizzards, he was taken to the hospital where he was in a critical but stable condition.
He posted on Twitter on Tuesday that he had watched the first episode of the new Mayor of Kingstown season.

He wrote, “Outside of my recovery-induced fog, I was very excited to watch episode 201 with my family at home.”

Renner plays Mike McLusky, an unofficial mayor who acts as a link between prisoners, guards, the police, and criminals in the Paramount show.
