The issue of North Korea’s missile launches was brought up by Japanese Foreign Minister Hayashi Yoshimasa.

NHK World News reports that Hayashi also stated that Pyongyang’s unprecedented rate of ballistic missile test launches poses a serious threat to international peace and security and a threat to Japan’s safety.

He stated that he would collaborate closely with the other G7 members to respond to the threats and that the North’s actions were completely unacceptable.
